privacy policy

scope

this policy covers three things: the website copyfomo.com, the telegram bot @copyfomo_bot, and the chrome extension "copyfomo — fomo pnl on x". copyfomo is operated independently and is not affiliated with fomo.

the chrome extension

the extension shows the public fomo trading statistics of x accounts whose owner linked their fomo profile, as a badge under their posts on x.com and a card on their profile page.

• x handles visible on your screen. to show a badge, the extension sends the handles of the posts currently on screen to the copyfomo server, which answers with public fomo statistics for the handles it knows. nothing else from the page is sent: no post text, no cookies, no account information.
• your filter settings. the feed filter toggles are stored in your browser's extension storage and never leave your browser.
• what it does not do. the extension does not read your messages, your posts, your account, or your browsing history. it does not use cookies, analytics or advertising identifiers. it contains no remote code.
• server logs. our stats server keeps standard request logs for a short time for operational purposes. they are not linked to any person and are not used for profiling.

the telegram bot

when you use @copyfomo_bot, we store what the bot needs to work: your telegram user id and username, your settings, the wallets the bot creates for you and their on-chain activity, and the trades it places on your behalf. we never receive your telegram password or your private messages with other people.

on-chain transactions are public by nature. copyfomo does not add any personal information to them.

the website

copyfomo.com is a static site. it does not require an account and does not set tracking cookies. some pages embed third-party services (for example a video player or a wallet funding widget) that follow their own privacy policies.

trader data shown

statistics displayed on the site, in the bot and in the extension come from public fomo data. an x account is matched to a fomo profile only when its owner publicly linked the fomo profile from their x profile, or after manual verification. wallet addresses are shown masked. trader names, handles and photos belong to their owners; a trader who wants a page or a badge removed can contact us and it will be taken down.

sharing and selling

we do not sell personal data. we do not transfer it to third parties for purposes unrelated to the service. we do not use it to determine creditworthiness or for lending. data is shared only with the infrastructure providers that run the service (hosting, database, blockchain rpc), bound by their own terms.

retention and deletion

bot data is kept for as long as your account is active. you can ask for deletion at any time through the bot or the contact below; on-chain history cannot be deleted because it lives on public blockchains.
