how to find your own wallet address on fomo

fomo hides wallet addresses almost everywhere, including yours. there is one screen where it shows up, and one habit that stops you sending money to the wrong place.

to find your wallet address on fomo, open the app, tap deposit, choose crypto, then pick a network. fomo's own deposit guide says a qr code and your wallet address for that network appear next. that screen is the reliable place to get your own address, and the network you pick decides which address you get.

this page is about your address. if you are looking for somebody else's, that is a different problem, covered in how to find a fomo trader's wallet address.

how to find your wallet address on fomo, step by step

  1. open the fomo app and tap deposit.
  2. choose crypto rather than apple pay or card. only the crypto route shows an address.
  3. pick the network you are sending from. this is the step that matters. the address shown belongs to that network.
  4. copy the address with the copy button, or scan the qr code with the app you are sending from.
  5. check it: compare the first four and last four characters on both screens before you confirm.

fomo's guide also says crypto deposits accept usdc only, on supported networks. the list of networks has grown over time, so treat the deposit screen as the source of truth rather than any guide, this one included.

why the network changes the address

two families of address show up in fomo, and they are not interchangeable.

network familywhat the address looks likeexamples
evmstarts with 0x, 42 charactersbase, bnb chain, robinhood chain, ethereum
solanaletters and numbers, no 0x, usually 32 to 44 characterssolana

a solana address pasted into an evm send screen will be rejected, which is the good outcome. the dangerous case is two evm networks: both accept a 0x address, so nothing stops you sending usdc on one chain when the app expected another. the transfer succeeds, and the funds sit somewhere the app does not display.

pick the network on both ends, every time. the network selected on fomo's deposit screen and the network selected in the app you send from must match. this one check prevents the most common way deposits and withdrawals go wrong.

send a small test first

the first time you use a new address, send a dollar or two of usdc and wait until it shows up in fomo. then send the real amount. it costs a few cents in network fees and removes the only mistake here that cannot be undone. how much to send after that is its own question, answered in how much you actually need to start on fomo.

checking your wallet on-chain

your fomo wallet is an ordinary on-chain wallet, so you can look at it outside the app. paste the address from the deposit screen into the block explorer for that network: a solana explorer for your solana address, basescan for base, bscscan for bnb chain, and robinhood chain's own explorer for robinhood chain.

what you will see, and why it can look odd:

  • your balances and transfers, including deposits and withdrawals, with timestamps.
  • trades that look like router calls. fomo routes orders rather than hitting one exchange, so a buy often shows as an interaction with a router contract rather than a clean swap. that is expected. more on this in which chain fomo is actually on.
  • a contract account. fomo wallets are smart accounts created behind your login, so some explorers label the address as a contract. that is normal for this kind of wallet.

the explorer is also the tiebreaker when the app and your expectations disagree. if a deposit shows as confirmed on the explorer to the right address on the right network, it arrived. if it went to another network, the explorer for that network will show it there instead.

your address is not your key

sharing your address is safe. anyone can send to it and look at it, and nobody can move anything with it. your private key is the opposite: whoever has it has the funds. fomo lets you export the key from its security settings, and that is worth understanding before you do it, in fomo private key export.

the scam to know: nobody legitimate will ever ask for your key or seed to "verify" your address. a support message asking for either is the fraud.

yours vs someone else's

you wantwhere it is
your own address, to depositfomo app: deposit, crypto, pick the network
your own address, to check on-chainsame screen, then paste into the network's explorer
another trader's addressnot shown in the app. the wallet finder takes a handle or screenshot

people usually want a trader's address so they can follow their trades automatically. the address is a public on-chain fact; the hard part is being sure it is the right one. copyfomo's /find checks the wallet really is theirs before saving it, and refuses rather than guesses. copyfomo is independent and not affiliated with fomo.

one more address, if you use copyfomo

if you also copy traders with copyfomo, remember it is a separate wallet with its own addresses: one evm address and one solana address, shown under /deposit in the bot. sending to your fomo address funds fomo, sending to your copyfomo address funds your copies. and on copyfomo, robinhood chain deposits are usdg only: usdc sent to robinhood chain is not credited there.

if you want the trades of the people you follow on fomo mirrored into that wallet, @copyfomo_bot walks you through it, and /deposit shows the right address for each network.

frequently asked

how do i find my wallet address on fomo?

open the fomo app, tap deposit, choose crypto, then pick the network you will send from. fomo's own deposit guide says you will then see a qr code and a wallet address for that network. copy it with the copy button or scan the qr code from the sending app, and check the first and last characters before you send anything.

is my fomo wallet address the same on every network?

not necessarily, so do not assume it. solana addresses and evm addresses (base, bnb, robinhood chain and other 0x networks) use different formats and can never be the same string. always pick the network first on the deposit screen and copy the address shown for that network, even if you think you know it.

can i see my fomo wallet on a block explorer?

yes. paste the address from the deposit screen into the explorer for that network, for example a solana explorer for a solana address or basescan for base. you will see your balance and transactions. fomo trades are routed, so some of them show up as calls to a router contract rather than a simple swap, which is normal.

how do i find another trader's wallet address on fomo?

the app does not show it. a trader's profile shows positions and pnl, never the wallet behind them. the address is still a public on-chain fact, and copyfomo's wallet finder takes a handle or a profile screenshot, checks the wallet really is theirs before saving it, and refuses rather than guesses when it cannot prove one.

what happens if i send crypto to the wrong network on fomo?

the transfer can succeed on-chain and still land somewhere the app does not show. on evm networks the funds often still sit at the same address on the other chain and can sometimes be recovered by exporting your key into a wallet that supports that chain. sometimes is not always, which is why the network check comes first.

stop reading. start copying.

pick a trader from the fomo leaderboard, set your size, and the entries and the exits land in your own wallet while you sleep.
