fomo trader alerts on telegram

not everyone wants a bot trading for them. plenty of people just want to know, fast and in one place, when the traders they rate make a move. that is a different job, and it deserves its own setup.

to get fomo trader alerts on telegram without copying anything, open @copyfomo_bot, pick a trader from /leaderboard or /find, and tap the get alerts button on their card. you answer a few questions (which trades, a minimum trade size, a market cap band) and every matching trade lands in your chat. no sizing, no fee, no wallet.

that is the short version. the longer one is that there are five different kinds of alert, each answering a different question, and picking the right mix is what keeps the feed useful instead of noisy.

the five alerts, and what each one is for

alerthow you set itit pings you when
trader alertthe get alerts button on a trader cardthat fomo trader trades, inside your filters
wallet alertpaste any wallet addressthat address trades, fomo account or not (up to ten)
price watchthe ping me if it dips button, or a token carda token reaches the level you armed, for 10 days
thesis alert/thesis, or /settingssomeone posts or updates a thesis on a token you watch
portfolio tracker/portfoliotrackera top trader buys something a tracked account holds

all five are information. nothing is bought or sold on your behalf. the buttons under an alert can start a real trade, but only behind the same confirmation screen as everything else in the bot.

trader alerts: the fomo trader you rate, filtered

this is the one most people come for. every trader card in the bot, whether you reached it from /leaderboard, from a handle, or from a screenshot of their fomo profile sent to /find, carries a get alerts button. tapping it asks a handful of questions instead of the dozen the copy flow asks:

  • which trades you want to hear about. decide what kind of move is worth interrupting you.
  • a minimum trade size. traders clip small all the time. a floor keeps the probes out and leaves the trades where they actually committed.
  • a market cap band. if you only care about what a trader does under a certain size, or above one, say so here.

the filters are the whole point. the fomo app's own push fires on everything a followed trader does, which is exactly why people end up muting it after a week. a telegram alert with a sensible minimum reads more like a shortlist than a firehose.

one detail worth knowing: if you already copy a trader, you do not also get their alert. your own fill message says the same thing with your numbers in it. stop copying them and the alerts come back on their own.

wallet alerts: any address, no fomo account needed

paste a wallet address into the chat and copyfomo can watch it, with no fomo profile behind it at all. that covers the trader you found elsewhere, a wallet you saw buying early on a chart, or your own second wallet. you can keep up to ten.

copyfomo turns down addresses that are contracts, or that trade hundreds of times a day. that is deliberate: a bot firing constantly would bury the handful of humans you actually want to hear from. if you are trying to work out which address belongs to a fomo trader in the first place, tracking a fomo trader's wallet covers why that matters, and the wallet finder does it for you, checking the wallet really is theirs before saving it.

price watches: the second chance at an entry

an alert that a trader bought is often an alert that the move already started. the price watch exists for that moment. under a buy alert, the ping me if it dips button arms a watch below your trader's own entry: -25%, -50%, -75% or a custom depth, live for 10 days.

the logic is simple. if you liked the trade but not the price, you get told when the price comes back to something you would accept, instead of refreshing a chart. and if your trader sells out of the token, the watch stops and you are told, because their entry is no longer a reference worth anchoring on.

from any token card you can arm the same thing on the current price, in either direction, dip or pump.

token alerts: the signals that are not prices

some of the most useful things to know about a memecoin never show up on the chart. the token alerts button on a token card pings you when the token pays for its dexscreener profile, when someone buys it a boost, and when its x account changes. each alert says plainly what the event means, and each expires after 30 days so old watches do not pile up.

thesis alerts and the portfolio tracker

fomo traders often write down why they took a trade. /thesis lets you watch a token and get pinged whenever anyone posts or updates a thesis on it, and in /settings you can switch on the theses of traders you follow and those written about tokens you hold. what a thesis is and how to read one is covered in fomo theses explained.

/portfoliotracker is the inverse view. it watches the bags of up to three fomo accounts, yours or anyone's, and pings you when a top trader buys something those accounts hold. you pick the trade size worth a ping. no deposit, no wallet.

alerts in a telegram group

add the bot to a group and the alerts belong to the group, not to one member. /top lists the most followed traders with a track button on each, /thesis and /portfoliotracker work at group level, and /alerts shows everything the group watches with a tap to remove. anyone can search, only group admins can add or remove what the group watches, and money screens stay in private chats.

a sensible starter setup

if you wantset up
to learn how one trader worksone trader alert, low minimum
a short list of real movesthree to five trader alerts, a minimum that cuts the probes
entries you did not chaseprice watches from buy alerts, at -25% or -50%
context before you actthesis alerts on the tokens you hold
alerts are not a head start. a human reading a ping and deciding is always slower than the trade it describes, and on these tokens the first minutes carry most of the move. that is fine for learning and for filtering. if what you actually want is to be in the trade at their price, that is copying, a different setup with its own rules. memecoins carry a high risk of losing everything either way.

copyfomo is independent and not affiliated with fomo. every command above is documented in the docs. if you want to try it, open @copyfomo_bot, pick one trader you already watch, and set a single alert with a minimum you would actually act on. you can stop there, or copy them later, from the same card.

frequently asked

how do i get telegram alerts when a fomo trader buys?

open @copyfomo_bot, find the trader on /leaderboard or with /find, and tap the get alerts button on their card. you answer a few questions (which trades you want to hear about, a minimum trade size, a market cap band) and from then on each matching trade arrives as a telegram message. there is no sizing, no fee and no wallet involved.

can i get fomo alerts without copying trades?

yes. alerts in copyfomo are information only: nothing is bought or sold on your behalf. the buttons under an alert can start a real trade, but only behind the usual confirmation screen, so nothing happens unless you choose it. if you later decide to copy that trader, your fill messages replace the alert so you are not pinged twice.

can i watch a wallet that has no fomo account?

yes. paste any wallet address into the chat and copyfomo can ping you when it trades, with up to ten wallet alerts. it turns down addresses that are contracts or that trade hundreds of times a day, because a machine firing constantly would drown out the traders you actually care about.

can a telegram group get fomo trader alerts?

yes. add @copyfomo_bot to a group and the alerts belong to the group rather than to one member. /top lists the most followed traders with a track button on each, and /alerts shows everything the group watches. anyone can search, but only group admins can add or remove what the group watches.

why use telegram alerts instead of fomo's own notifications?

the fomo app notifies you when a trader you follow trades, which works well if you live in the app. telegram alerts add filters the push does not have, such as a minimum trade size and a market cap band, plus wallet alerts, price watches under a trader's entry and thesis pings, all in one chat you already keep open.

stop reading. start copying.

pick a trader from the fomo leaderboard, set your size, and the entries and the exits land in your own wallet while you sleep.
