how to deposit on fomo, without losing it on the way

a fomo deposit is three taps when it goes right. when it goes wrong it is nearly always the same two mistakes: the wrong token, or the right token on the wrong network.

to deposit on fomo, open add funds and pick one of three routes: apple pay, debit card, or crypto. for crypto, fomo's own guide says to send only usdc, on a supported network such as solana, base or bnb chain, to the address the app shows. card and apple pay need no crypto at all. send a small test first.

apple paya card in apple walletfirst deposit, no crypto yetyou pick what to buy as part of the payment
debit carda card from a supported bankno iphone, no cryptocard acceptance varies by bank and region
crypto (usdc)usdc on a supported networkmoving funds from an exchange or walletwrong token or wrong network
based on fomo's own deposit guide and apple pay page, as of september 2026. check the app for what is live in your region.

depositing with apple pay or a card

the fastest route, and the one fomo leans on. from fomo's own apple pay page, the flow is:

  1. open the fomo app and go to add funds.
  2. select apple pay (or debit card).
  3. enter what you want to buy.
  4. confirm with face id or touch id.
  5. trade. fomo says tokens are available immediately.

fomo's page says apple pay works with the cards already in your apple wallet, including debit cards from most major banks. note step 3: with apple pay you are buying something as you pay, not just loading a cash balance. read the confirmation screen for the amount and what you will receive before you approve it.

how to deposit crypto on fomo

if you already hold crypto on an exchange or in a wallet, this route avoids card fees. it is also where every lost deposit happens, so do it slowly.

  1. open add funds, choose crypto. the app shows your deposit address. if you want to know which address that is and how to check it on an explorer, see how to find your own wallet address on fomo.
  2. pick the network first, then the address. fomo's deposit guide names solana, base and bnb chain as supported; its cross-chain page also mentions monad. use the network the app shows you, not the one your exchange defaults to.
  3. send usdc only. fomo's guide is blunt about it: you can only send usdc, and only on supported networks.
  4. send a test amount. a dollar or two. wait until it appears in the app.
  5. send the rest, to the same address, on the same network, as the same token.
the two mistakes that strand deposits. sending the wrong token (usdt, eth, sol or a memecoin to a usdc deposit) and sending usdc on a network fomo does not list. both can confirm on-chain and still never show in the app. the test deposit costs a few cents and catches both.

fomo minimum deposit

fomo does not state a minimum deposit on its own pages. its apple pay page talks about adding "$20 or $50 to try things out", and third-party guides report a $20 minimum for apple pay. treat those as reported, not official.

the minimum that decides whether a deposit is useful is a different one. fomo does not publish its trading fee either, but third parties report around 0.50% with a minimum near $0.95 per trade. that floor means:

ticketfee one way (reported)round trip
$204.75%9.5%
$501.90%3.8%
$1900.50%1.0%

a $20 deposit is fine for learning the app. it is not enough to trade often. the full arithmetic, and how much you really need for copy trading, is in fomo app minimum deposit.

whatever the row, keep the transaction hash. it is the one piece of information support needs, and it proves where the funds went. the explorer is the source of truth, not the app screen. the same network rule applies on the way out: withdrawing from fomo fails for the mirror-image reasons, and which chains fomo uses explains why the network question keeps coming up.

if you are funding copyfomo instead

copyfomo is a separate, independent telegram bot (not affiliated with fomo) that copies fomo traders into a wallet you control. its deposits work differently, and the rules are in the docs:

  • stablecoins on many networks: usdc, usdt and more on base, bnb chain, ethereum, arbitrum, polygon, hyperevm and solana (native sol works too).
  • robinhood chain takes usdg only. usdc sent to robinhood chain is not credited.
  • eth, bnb and pol from about $1 up are converted for you. memecoins sent to the deposit address are not deposits.
  • apple pay or card, or cash app from $5 to $500 per order, landing within minutes.

no fee on deposits, withdrawals or holding, and you can withdraw as usdc any time. memecoins can go to zero, so deposit what you can afford to lose. if you want your deposit to follow a fomo trader automatically, @copyfomo_bot walks you through /deposit.

frequently asked

how do i deposit crypto on fomo?

open add funds in the app and choose crypto. copy the deposit address shown, then send usdc to it on one of the networks fomo lists. fomo's own deposit guide says you can only send usdc, on supported networks such as solana, base and bnb chain. send a small test amount first, and only send the full amount once the test shows up.

what is the minimum deposit on fomo?

fomo does not publish a minimum deposit on its own pages; its apple pay page talks about adding $20 or $50 to try things out, and third-party guides report a $20 minimum for apple pay. the more useful minimum is economic: with a reported fee floor near $0.95 per trade, tickets under about $190 pay more than the headline rate.

can i deposit on fomo with apple pay?

yes. choose apple pay under add funds, pick what you want to buy, and confirm with face id or touch id. fomo's page says it works with cards already in your apple wallet, including debit cards from most major banks. apple pay is the fastest route if you have no crypto yet.

i sent crypto to fomo and it did not show up. what now?

check three things on a block explorer: that the transfer confirmed, that it went to the exact address fomo showed, and that the token and network match what fomo accepts. usdc on the wrong network, or a different token like usdt, may not be credited. contact fomo support with the transaction hash rather than sending more.

can i send usdt or eth to my fomo deposit address?

fomo's own deposit guide says to send only usdc, and only on supported networks. anything else risks not being credited. if you hold usdt or eth, swap it to usdc on a supported network first, or use apple pay or a debit card instead. when in doubt, send a dollar and check before sending the rest.
