copyfomo vs trojan, for copying fomo traders

trojan is one of the most established names in solana trading bots, and its copy trade is genuinely good. the question is narrower: is it the right tool for copying someone you found on fomo?

copyfomo vs trojan: trojan is a solana trading platform whose copy trade mirrors any solana wallet you paste in, with copy sell, take profit and stop loss. copyfomo is a telegram bot built only for fomo traders: it finds the wallet from a fomo handle or screenshot, then copies buys and sells on robinhood chain, base, bnb and solana.

verdict: pick trojan if you trade solana broadly and already know the wallets you want to copy; pick copyfomo if the traders you want are on fomo and you want every chain they trade on covered.

where trojan is stronger

trojan's docs describe its web terminal as built by the creators of "the leading telegram-based solana trading bot", bringing that bot's infrastructure to the web. its copy trade is mature, and it is fair to say so.

  • execution control on solana. you set your own priority fee, a bribe for mev protection and slippage, separately for buys, copy sells and auto sells. copyfomo keeps this simpler: slippage auto by default, with max chase and max impact deciding what price you accept.
  • it is a whole terminal. limit orders, dca, a wallet tracker, a wallet analyzer, perps. copyfomo does one job: copying and watching fomo traders.
  • any solana wallet. if the person you want to copy is not on fomo at all, trojan does not care. copyfomo's copy flow is for fomo traders (though its wallet alerts will watch any address).
  • a published fee. trojan's docs state 1% per successful trade, with sol cashback that grows with your rank. copyfomo shows its rate on the confirmation screen before anything is armed.

trojan's docs are also honest about limits: copy trade does not work with wallets that buy through custom programs or in unsupported pools, and copying a sniper usually makes you their exit liquidity. that last warning applies to every copy tool, ours included.

where copyfomo is built for the job

you do not need the address

fomo shows a trader's positions and pnl, never their wallet. trojan needs a target address before it can do anything. copyfomo's /find takes a handle or a screenshot of any fomo profile, checks the wallet really is theirs before saving it, and refuses rather than guesses. why fomo wallet addresses are hard to find covers the background, and the wallet finder works on the web too.

the chains fomo traders use

many fomo trades settle on evm chains. a solana-only copy setup watches half of a trader's activity and misses the rest silently, which looks exactly like a trader who went quiet. copyfomo copies on robinhood chain, base, bnb and solana, from one evm and one solana address.

guards shaped around how fomo moves

a fomo trader's buy is often followed by their followers' buys. we timed 29 first buys from a large fomo wallet: median +39% one minute after the leader's fill, +43% at fifteen minutes, most given back by sixty. past performance does not predict future results, but it explains the guards:

  • max chase skips the copy if the price already ran too far past the trader's entry.
  • first buys only copies a trader's first entry into a token, not their later adds.
  • when your trader sells at a loss: sell with them, or hold while you are down and leave it to your own stop.
  • no re-buy for 24 hours after a token leaves your wallet, and a choice for when two of your traders buy the same coin.
  • a payment check: before copying a buy, copyfomo confirms the trader actually paid for it, since anyone can push tokens into a famous wallet to fake a purchase.

every option and its default is in fomo copy trading settings explained and the docs.

money and keys

both let you export your private key. trojan's docs describe the terminal as non-custodial and limit you to 10 active wallets. copyfomo gives you one evm and one solana address, the key is exportable from /settings, and copyfomo never sees it. you withdraw as usdc whenever you want, minimum $1, with no copyfomo withdrawal fee.

the wider custody question for telegram bots, and why it deserves more attention than feature lists, is in what to check before funding a solana copy trading bot. for another comparison on the same lines, see copyfomo vs gmgn.

copyfomo vs trojan: can you use both?

yes, and some people will. trojan for your own solana trading and wallets you already know; copyfomo for the fomo traders you want mirrored on every chain they use. just do not point both at the same trader, or you will copy every trade twice.

copying does not reduce risk, and memecoins can go to zero. copyfomo is independent and not affiliated with fomo. if the trader you want to copy is on fomo, send their handle to @copyfomo_bot.

frequently asked

can trojan copy trade a fomo trader?

only on solana, and only if you already have the trader's wallet address. trojan's copy trade asks for a target address; it has no way to start from a fomo handle. fomo traders also trade on evm chains, and trojan's docs describe a solana platform, so trades on base, bnb chain or robinhood chain would not be copied.

does trojan copy sells?

yes. trojan's docs describe copy sell, which sells the same percentage the copied wallet sells, and auto sell, which sets take profit and stop loss orders when a copy buy happens. you can also leave both off and handle sells yourself. each sell mode has its own priority fee, bribe, slippage and mev protection settings.

how much does trojan charge?

according to trojan's docs, as of september 2026, trojan charges 1% per successful trade and pays cashback in sol that grows with your rank in its arena program, which lowers the effective fee. there is no charge to access the platform. priority fees and bribes you choose for speed are paid on top.

is copyfomo or trojan better?

for general solana trading, sniping, limit orders or copying any solana wallet you already know, trojan is the more complete tool. for copying fomo traders specifically, copyfomo fits better: it finds the wallet from a handle or screenshot, copies on robinhood chain, base, bnb and solana, and adds fomo-specific guards like first buys only and max chase.

stop reading. start copying.

pick a trader from the fomo leaderboard, set your size, and the entries and the exits land in your own wallet while you sleep.
